I haven't done a recent wanderings post in a while so I thought I would share with you some bits and pieces of my life lately. Since my visit to the west coast, I've had a typical fall in the midwest. Nothing crazy, just time spent with friends, family, and nature. After looking through my latest pictures, I was reminded of the small moments that I shouldn't take for granted. I love that the little things in life are usually the most beautiful. Let's all be sure not to miss them.
A beautiful thing is getting to watch your nephew go pumpkin bowling.
Or have the best time on the biggest slide.
And seeing him with his dad.
Who is gets to be a dad to a baby girl very soon. My sister is another level of a beautiful thing, that perfect belly.
And buying a pumpkin before we left the patch.
The sunlight on these cookies before they went in the oven is pretty beautiful.
And this right here. So beautiful. Roasted squash is the key to my heart.
And friends making almond butter. You should make some too, its so easy. In case you didn't see, I showed you how to make almond butter in a recent post. Check. It. Out.
The finished product of the aforementioned almond butter. That is true beauty, and in a blue!! mason jar. I wish you could taste this stuff. Dana used slivered almonds with a dash of cinnamon and vanilla extract. Literally tasted like cookie dough.
A beautiful thing is when your best friend lint rolls the dog hair off of your legs for you. Enough said.
Fall brings so much beauty. The colors, the crisp air, even the sunlight seems different then any other time of year. Anyone else think that too?
In my perfect world, it would be fall for 3/4 of the year. All of the trees would change color but they would never go bare. The ground would be covered in leaves, and everywhere you walked would have a blanket of oranges, yellows, pinks, and reds. I think fallen leaves are the best fall decoration.
Beautiful is starting the week with a renewed inspiration and excitement to create. So grateful for that.
I hope you enjoyed the little peak at some of the beautiful things in my life. Don't let yourself miss the small moments happening in yours!
