Hi everyone! Since you are all reading this on Friday, Happy Friday to you! Currently, I am typing up this post on Thursday night and I have to tell you, my heart is so incredibly full I think it might burst. Today I became an aunt for the second time but it's the first time I can say I have a niece. My sister gave birth to Stella this afternoon and I am so happy to say that both are healthy, happy, and beautiful. The amount of love you can feel for someone that is six hours old is kind of insane, I really don't know if there is a better feeling. Sorry, but I'm not sharing any pictures of the newest member of our family quite yet, but don't worry, you'll get to see the little darling sometime soon! Needless to say, she is the highlight of my weekend before it has even started. I hope you are all overflowing with love, joy, and happiness this weekend as well, whatever your reasoning may be.
If you have some down time and need to be entertained, I have some Friday links for you this week. Like usual, its just a random assortment of things I have stumbled across and entertained me in some way. I have quite an assortment of topics listed so if you don't find anything even slightly interesting then I think you might be playing too hard to get. I'll let you be the judge though, so how about I stop rambling and just give you the links. Enjoy!
For any writers out there, here is quite the list of advice to better your craft. I definitely learned a few new things.
For anyone into DIY, here is a tutorial for some pretty awesome candles. I have a thing for the look of dripping wax and I can't help but think these geometric candles would be amazing half melted.
For anyone in a small apartment, I think this one is just lovely. It also has a lot of great tips for being creative and maximizing your space.
For all you bikers, wouldn't you like to take a ride down this path?
For anyone needing some advice, I think this is just great. Perfect for this time of year when we should recognize and be thankful for how lucky we really are.
For my photography lovers, check out this four year old. I think this is awesome and I love that this dad is documenting his child's earliest work.
For anyone who loves tights as much as me. My favorite are the onyx and coal.
For anyone interested in architecture, shipping containers make awesome houses.
For anyone looking for a book to read, I just finished this one. It wasn't the best book I've ever read, but it was interesting.
For anyone who appreciates jewelry. One of my best friends, Kelsey, has her septum pierced and she would look so cool wearing these.
For anyone needing some art inspiration, watch this video. I know its an old piece/video but I just love watching artists create and of course I love all of the detail work.
Have a lovely weekend!
