Happy Friday everyone!!! Today is an especially happy Friday because I am going on a mini road trip with Jordyn and Dana to Chicago. You may remember Courtney abandoned me at the end of the summer, just kidding!, but we've been in talks of a visit ever since and this weekend happened to work perfectly for all of us. Yes, I have been counting down the days and can't wait to explore, go shopping, probably drink too much, and have a couple slumber parties aka have a perfect weekend. Don't worry, I'll take lots of pictures and tell you all about our weekend whether you are interested or not. My only hope is that Erica (my sister) doesn't go into labor while I'm gone. With my luck she will, so I'm just preparing myself for going straight from Chicago to Minneapolis to visit my niece. Basically I just have a lot of things to be excited for today and I'm definitely not complaining. I hope you have some great plans for your weekend, even if all they include is maxin' out relaxin'. I hear its supposed to be really cold this weekend, meaning winter might actually be here, meaning you'll have a great excuse to kick your feet up and get cozy.
If you are cozy and snuggling with your computer (I'm not sure if that sounds nice or not) I have a few things for you to look at and hopefully enjoy.
Grandma's how to list for getting through life. #9. And I think I might do a little of #18. I don't think I'd regret it later in life.
I never realized how much I like green chairs.
As an avid walker, I appreciated this article. All about walking and definitely shows how seriously some people walk. Totally can be a way of life.
I think this was so well written. Nice reminder that comparing ourselves to others in any area of life is probably not doing us any good.
I stumbled across this website and thought it was kind of cool. Chuck Palahniuk is one of my favorite authors so I enjoyed seeing what he recommends reading. They have a bunch of other lists by other author's, check it out for some new reading material from writer's you respect!
Artist crush this week is Jessica Hische. Can't say I usually fall for graphic design but her use of text is just wonderful. I love some good hand lettering. I also love that she definitely has her own unique style. Basically I am into her work and admire the business she built for herself.
Saving the best for last, here is a link to pictures of my soul mates. Yes, soul mates is plural because I don't think I could choose just one and because I honestly think we might be made for each other. Check it out if you appreciate man buns.
I'm ending this post with a selfie because I literally have nothing else to show. And it's been a little too long since I posted one on here. Don't worry, a reminder that I need to take more pictures in general has been noted.
Have a lovely weekend!
