Happy Halloween!!! I'm sure some of your have been planning and creating your costumes for months and others will be hitting up the local thrift store sometime today before the festivities (I did last night). Whichever you are, I hope you have a wonderful weekend! If you find yourself bored between festivities or would rather be cozy at home then be surrounded by zombies and girls in tiny outfits, I have some light reading for you to fill a bit of your time.
Here are some random things that I enjoyed/found interesting/inspiring/caught my eye, etc. Maybe they will entertain you too.
In case you still want to decorate pumpkins and haven't done so yet, these are really cute. This is an awesome way to decorate pumpkins too. I tend to be more attracted to pumpkin decorating that doesn't involve carving, I was never very good at that. I'll stick to the paint and patterns.
It's probably a little too late for you to do this yourself, but all of my fellow artists and art lovers will appreciate this themed party. Tortured artists were the best artists.
I know fall isn't necessarily the time you start growing a garden, but succulents are awesome any time of year. They are fairly easy to take care of as well, and here's a guide to show you how. If you want to stick with the halloween theme you can pot your succulents in this, which I also think would be awesome any time of year.
I used to be the girl with the constantly messy room. I have since changed my ways (for the most part) but here is an interesting argument that messy rooms may actually be a good thing!
With Christmas coming up we will all be practicing our gift wrapping skills sooner rather than later. I thought these were some cute, easy ways to step up your game.
Recently I got some new soap that smells like oatmeal and honey, and now I'm all about bar soap. This looks really easy to make, and customize. I am seriously going to try this diy in the near future and I will show you my results!
I thought this post was wonderful. I can totally relate and I'm sure many of you can too. Just another reminder that as much as we try to plan, things will probably never go exactly how we thought, and it doesn't mean we did anything wrong. While you are on this site, you should read this post as well. More wisdom.
And just for fun, in case you are interested, I just finished this book (which I just saw they made into a movie, which now I'll have to watch). And I just started this one (which is being turned into a tv show as well, more things to watch!). Have you read either?
Have a lovely weekend!!
