So by now if you have read a number of my posts you have probably noticed that I really like to get an afternoon coffee at a local coffee shop. Lucky for me, my local coffee shop also serves beer. Sometime you just need an afternoon beer. My taste in beer has definitely changed since my early college days. Gone are the nights of drinking beer that tastes like water, now I prefer something with a little more flavor. I am by no means a big drinker or beer connoisseur but if I am going to have a beer I want it to taste good. I've found I prefer IPA's and/or dark beers. Today I chose a stout. Its dark and smooth and still satisfies my afternoon coffee habit because it is infused with cold brew coffee. YUM.
Today I am starting something new that I believe I will do every Friday.
I am going to post a collection of things I've found on the web over the past week. This will be a random assortment of basically anything I've found that I liked. My hope is that you will find some enjoyment/inspiration/amusement/interest out of at least one thing. If you don't, maybe we wouldn't be friends. Or maybe we would?! Opposites attract. Wow, what a deep thought. Not only do I have things for you to read and look at during your weekend but I also have you contemplating if we are friends, enemies or soul mates. If you find it's keeping you up at night we can get a beer together and talk it over.
By the way, the photos are just random shots from throughout the week that I feel like sharing. I'm going to start doing that on Friday's too.
This article is totally relatable. Maybe we will never feel like adults, and I think I am okay with that. Read this if you want to be reminded you aren't the only one trying to figure out life.
Shout out to my fellow artists who plan on struggling through life! Apparently we don't have to starve! Really though, I enjoy reading things like this, especially because I am trying to choose where to go next. Can't wait to visit Portland!
My artist crush this week is on Oana Befort. I just found her blog and her artwork is so lovely. It makes we want to pick up a set of watercolors and sit in a field and paint pretty things all day long. If only watercolors didn't completely scare me. Anyways, check her out, she has a lot of prints for sale as well as a society6 website with tons of products with her beautiful artwork printed on them. Also, you should watch this!! Gahhh, I want those little detail brushes. Maybe I should start playing around with watercolors?!
10 things I hope most already know and believe. It was a refreshing reminder for me though, maybe it will be for you too.
If you know me, then you probably know I loved this little post.
Have a lovely weekend!
