I spent this past weekend in Chicago with some of my very best friends and it was another successful trip. I am always reminded how much my soul craves exploration and how refreshing it feels whenever I am in new scenery. I've learned that traveling and experiencing different surroundings is electrifying and fills me to the brim with happiness, therefore it is something I prioritize in my life. This plays a huge role in my plan to move out west and the excitement I have for making a big change in my life. As exciting as traveling and exploring may be, my relationships hold an even bigger priority in my life. My friendships have always meant the world to me and as my moving date is rapidly approaching, I'm realizing more then ever that my time with loved ones is limited. Weekends filled with shopping, good food, a little tequila, cozy movie watching and tons of girl talk are going to be harder and harder to come by. As time goes on, busyness, distance, and responsibilities are going to fight for our attention more and more. This is all the more reason to cherish the time that we have. I think during this time of year, we are reminded that we can never be too thankful for the ones we love. We can't let our relationships slip down the list of priorities and its our responsibility to always make the most of our time together. Those are the beliefs that I am holding onto this season and will continue to do so as the seasons change. Let's never forget that the people who have always stuck by our side are worth every bit of our limited time. Pictures are from our time spent in Chicago and if I have one more priority in my life it is that I need to make a better habit of getting candid photos. Nothing beats capturing real moments during time spent with loved ones. So here's to making memories and cherishing the ones we love because I think we can all agree that it will be time well spent.
